B.S. Civil Engineering
Bio: This is Abdon Godinez. He is goal oriented and determined, with dreams of becoming a successful Engineer. His origins in Oaxaca Mexico and years in Yakima Washington have motivated him to strive for his goals. Abdon attended Yakima Valley Community College (YVCC) to expand his realm of knowledge and in a short time earned various Associates degrees: Automotive technician, Civil Engineering, Arts and Science and received a certificate in drafting. Abdon furthermore attended the Washington State University and received an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, minor in Construction Management and a minor in Business. He continued to set leadership standards, by being a mentor for the LSAMP, TMP program, as well being president for SOLES. As an alumni he continues to have in interest in connecting with students to share his student and work experience. Abdon is employed with the Department of Transportation and values mentoring to influence higher education and association among minority ethnicities.
